I can’t wait to visit Solvang, the cute-as-a-wooden-shoe Danish town in the heart of the gorgeous Santa Ynez valley wine country, near Santa Barbara. Come for the day, see the windmills, eat Danish pastries, ride the old-fashioned trolley and visit the Hans Christian Andersen museum. But most of all, come by The Book Loft’s annual open house! A day of fun is planned for the whole family at this wonderful indie bookstore, with authors scurrying about like the little enchanted mice we are.

Open House lasts all day, from 9 AM - 8 PM. I’ll be on hand to sign books around 4:30 PM PM. See you there!
